Disclosure: This was given to me in exchange for an honest review

From the back of the book:
Tsunamis...gun battles...skunk hunts...and lots of BELLY RUBS!

Your pup may be dozing away the day. NOT Princess Lola LaDeaux aka Killer! This little basset has daily adventures and close calls...shakedowns by Mom and Dad...a coterie of basset buddies...and of course, the constant Battle of the Basset Bulge. And she shares all in her sort-of daily on-line diary.

My Thoughts:
I love this book! I want to be part of this family! Lisa, aka Mom, has captured the fun and shared the laughter in a way children will enjoy. I love the way purebred Princess wants you to RUB MY BELLY! These characters are not animals, they're people, just how children (and some adults) see them.

Lots of color, even the text pages. The pictures are simple, colorful, perfect for the age range but not on each page. Not even every two-page spread.

"We were always laughing at some sort of "Killer Willer Incident"...so I decided to put it down on paper." Well, not exactly paper, she started a blog and this book is "a collection of Killer's favorite entries."

I'll be checking out the blog (www.killerdog.typepad.com), I hope you do too.

Thank you!

I have no idea why the captcha thing is showing up. I've got the setting marked "no" that I don't want it. Grrrrrr! But, I believe that if you skip entering anything it will post.
