The family went to the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park this week. You may remember it as the Wild Animal Park. We took a truck tour (extra) and were able to feed a giraffe and a couple of Rhinos. Then stopped in the Lorikeet exhibit and got one picture before the camera battery died. For just a little bit, I had four birds on me!

    Ah, I love zoos! And the San Diego one is fabulous, although I haven't been there in many years.

    I'm sure the animals were as charmed by you as you must have been by them. I met a giraffe once and he seemed to have a sense of humor. Did you get that impression from your friend?

    Those are fabulous photos! Giraffes are so much fun to watch. I bet it was great fun to be able to feed one!

    I got to feed a giraffe at our local zoo once, their tongues are SO long and purple. Touching a rhino is pretty awesome!
