Happy Monday!

If you stopped by last Tuesday for an intro or teaser you know the BIG news of the week. Just in case, and because I'm so excited.....the family was in Las Vegas for lunch and joined a loyalty club. Our first reward was a discount on lunch and a $5 credit on the slots. By the time we waited in a huge line for lunch (there was a promotion going on) I just wanted to go home. I planned on playing my credit with max bet and pushing the button a couple of times so we could leave. I missed a zero the first time I saw how much I won, 332,000. That's right, the one who didn't want to stay and play just won $332! Plus I still had credit to use which got me another $8. I let my Mom have the rest of the credits and cashed out! (I never did ask her how she did)

My Mom asked how many books I was going to buy!

I didn't read as much in the car as I had hoped but did finish two baby blankets. Discovered that I like crocheting "in the round" and in the car. I worked on one blanket at the reunion and boy was that a conversation starter!

"What are you working on?"

"A baby blanket." That always got a surprised/hopeful look. "No news, just crocheting" which lead to general conversation.

Hope everyone has plans for a great week.

Mailbox Monday is a place to share all the wonderful books that have come to live in your home– including paper books, e-books and audio books. Mailbox Monday was started by Marcia of The Printed Page. When Marcia was ready to move on from being the weekly host, she was kind enough to set up the Mailbox Monday Blog Tour. Check it out so you know where to go next month.

A big Thank You to Gwen for hosting in July, the August host is Staci at Life in the Thumb (blog link, not post link).

Thank you!

I have no idea why the captcha thing is showing up. I've got the setting marked "no" that I don't want it. Grrrrrr! But, I believe that if you skip entering anything it will post.
