B is for . . .

Wednesdays posts are usually an anything goes kind of thing but I have something different for today.

B is for Peanut Butter Banana? I found this one because I liked the other. Actually, I was looking for "apple smoothie" and came across this one. The original recipe served 4 but there aren't four at my house to share this with.

Serving size: 1?

1/2 banana, broken into chunks
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1 teaspoon honey, or to taste
1/2 cup or more of ice

There were several pictures, some had used powdered peanut butter but I don't have any. I would throw in some protein powder and call it lunch. Now to to actually make it!

Operation Paperback is US related but I'm sure anyone willing to volunteer can help. The idea is to ship paperback books to the troops. Also to military families. I've got a huge library of paperbacks, I just need to see which ones I'm willing to get rid of. O course, there's always a thrift shop!

That's all I got. I spent most of Monday (yesterday) at my "D is for . . ." post so I'm a little (lot!) tired.  :-)

update: My son and I had this. I added protein powder and didn't use any sweetener. We both liked it and will make it again.

  1. Oh yes that's one I need to try. I love peanut butter and bananas aren't too bad themselves sometimes.

    Happy A to Z-ing!

  2. Peanut butter banana! That sounds like one that'll replace two whole meals in my day. Delicious looking, as with the last. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you!

I have no idea why the captcha thing is showing up. I've got the setting marked "no" that I don't want it. Grrrrrr! But, I believe that if you skip entering anything it will post.
