H is for Hollywood!
It was going to be horses, then HA HA but I didn't get around to setting up a post yesterday. so . . . . Isn't it great the race I'm doing today is an H?



I'll be in Hollywood this morning running the Hollywood Half Marathon - 5k. Here's the link if you want to run next year. Maybe I'll edit with pictures later today but for now, this is all I got.

 Yes, I am wearing a formal dress. My husband raced with me and he had on a suit with bow tie. Not as many people dressed up as I was expecting but there was another girl there in a dress.

There were two wheelchair racers. One finished the 10k in about the same time I finished the 5k. The other took twice as long but did the half marathon. There was one finisher after my husband in his age group and six after me. We would have finished much soon if I hadn't needed to use a porta-potty!

Here's a slightly better picture of the dress.
What you can't really tell is that the dress is four layers. The sheer on top with the ribbon then a solid layer. The third layer doesn't go all the way to the waist, it's netting and is just to make the skirt bottom bulkier then luckily, the fourth layer is between the netting on my skin!

If it still fits next time we go on a cruise, this dress is nice enough for formal night. Of course, I'm hoping that it will be too big by then ;-)
