J is for Jogging
I googled jogging and got this . . .
I'm going with definition 1 today although I'm sure there is some of definition 2 going on during races!

Dr. George Sheehan, a best-selling author from the 1970s running boom, is quoted as saying that "the difference between a runner and a jogger is a signature on a race application."

Of course, there are lots of people out there who are WAAAAY faster than I am that use running as a regular form of exercise but have never competed in a formal race. Then there is me who has done lots of races but can walk faster than she can jog/run.

Anyways, people seem to use the term jog when they see someone exercising but use the term run when they see people in a race. So if you're a runner, don't be offended if someone mentions they saw you "out jogging". On the other hand, all those back of the pack people in races should be proud to call themselves runner.

Thank you!

I have no idea why the captcha thing is showing up. I've got the setting marked "no" that I don't want it. Grrrrrr! But, I believe that if you skip entering anything it will post.
