Hosting Audio Books Reading Challenge

Audio Books
Reading Challenge
2017

Hosted here at Book Dragon's Lair!

edit: I'm not a huge fan of audio books but I've got several that need to be listened too. Plus I saw that people were asking for, but not finding one. Here you go!

There are a couple of hard rules, one just for general courtesy, several guidelines and six levels.

Hard Rules
  • All books counted must be audio!
  • The audio book in question must have an ISBN or equivalent.

General Courtesy
  • When you sign up in the linky, put the direct link to your post. That way we can find it.

Guidelines
  • You can list your books in advance or as you read them. You can also change your list.
  • Any genre or length of book counts, as long as it is in audio format.
  • Anyone can join, you don’t need to be a blogger, just let me know in the comments.
  • Reviews are good but not necessary. Once again, you don't need to be a blogger, there are lots of places to post reviews. Hopefully, they'll link up so we can read them.
  • You may move up a level but not down.
  • Crossovers for other challenges count
  • Books started before January 1st, 2017 don’t count - unless you start over ;-)

Levels
bit – 1 book
Byte – 10 books
Megabyte – 25 books
Gigabyte – 50 books
Terabyte – 75 books
Petabyte – 100 books
Empty the Cloud - 101+ books

Want to join me?

  6. Thanks for hosting this! I love audiobooks, but I know it takes a while to do the long ones I prefer, so I'm going to go with Gigabyte.

  12. This is a great idea! I'm going for empty the cloud!
Here's what I list to so far this year.
    Arcanum unbounded by Brandon Sanderson
Age of myth by Michael j Sullivan
    Lady midnight by Cassandra Clare
Rogue one a star wars story
    Catalyst (star wars)
    Goldenhand by garth nix
And a couple more my last year goal was to listen to the wheel of time books and stay up to date on all the epic fantasy book series I fallow it took me about 8 months to do that
    This seems like fun
Hope every one meets or surpasses there goal😉

  14. Im in. Last year I listened to over 170 books (my Goodreads list this year so far is 177, with only a couple print books which were short ones I read to my grandkids, but not sure exact number). My goal for 2018 is 200 books. I listen at least 10 hours a day; some days are close to 20. I have a brain injury and cannot read print without difficulty. I cannot listen to music due to the injury, so I have audiobooks going when I am out of the house, to block out store music. I also have horrible insomnia, so I listen to books for several hours overnight. It all adds up to a lot of audiobooks. I get two or three a month from Audible, the rest via my library/Overdrive.

Thank you!

I have no idea why the captcha thing is showing up. I've got the setting marked "no" that I don't want it. Grrrrrr! But, I believe that if you skip entering anything it will post.
