There are several levels. For 2015, I quit counting at 29! I don't know if I'll repeat that for 2016 but one of my favorite sub-genres is shifter type books ;-) Books can be any format, any genre. Animals can be real or imagined. Only books started and finished during 2016 count. Crossovers are allowed. Reviews aren't necessary but there will be a place to link up.

I'm going for Level 4 and plan to read 21 or more books. Each book must meet one of four requirements:

• there is an animal in the title of the book

• there is an animal on the cover of the book

• an animal plays a major role in the book

• a main character is (or turns into) an animal (define that however you'd like)
