I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Happy Monday

As you may know, I'd rather read than clean house. Sigh, just as I'm getting started, I threw my back out. I did go to the chiropractor but.... now I've got to be "party" clean in three days. I could do it if I didn't hurt but I can hardly bend down to pick stuff up and can't lift it when I get down there!

Happy Memorial Day! We spend it with the family, here for a swim party. My brothers and their families are invited but I don't think they'll all come (out of town) but my in-laws will be here along with friends.

Hope everyone has a great week planned.

Mailbox Monday is a place to share all the wonderful books that have come to live in your home– including paper books, e-books and audio books. Started by Marcia of The Printed Page, the mailbox is currently on tour. Check it out so you know where to go next month.

A big thank you to Cindy's Love of Books for hosting in April. May's host is Martha's Bookshelf (blog link, not post link).

I've always wanted to read a Fluke mystery. Richard Peck makes me laugh. Have a good reading week!

Who wouldn't rather read than clean? (Looks around at all the dust.) I have the first Fluke book on my endless TBR stack but can't seem to find the time to read it. I hope your week goes well and your back gets better soon. Here is my Monday Report. Happy reading!

I've read the first Heart of the Wolf book but haven't read further. I should though.

Hope you enjoy your books this week.

Hope your back is better soon. I never did get a chance to spend time on the computer this weekend so no Mailbox post for me, but hope you enjoy these.

I hope your back is feeling better soon. I can never get caught up on the housework here anymore. I would much rather read than clean. Enjoy your new reads!

What are YOU reading??

Don't you just love those free Kindle books. Now that I have a Kindle, I've been picking a few up here and there. I always forget to list them in my mailbox post. Oops!

Anyway, enjoy your books!
