I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

I couldn't resist ... Summer Wrap-up Read-a-Thon

so, my unplugged status didn't last very long. I wanted to tell you about this read-a-thon. And yes, I wanted to signup!

Summer Wrap-up

August 4 - 12

hosted at Some Like it Paranormal and In Between

There will be challenges and giveaways planned and you don't need a blog to participate. Check out the sign up link for more info. I'm #238! (link isn't working)

You might not have noticed... I like read-a-thons. You did? ;-) Okay, so you know I love doing all kinds of read-a-thons... 24-hour, week-long, genre specific, reviews, doesn't matter-sign me up. In this case, I'll just be returning from vacation. I had my dates wrong and thought that there was no way I could join. Woo Hoo!

This is actually too far away to plan specific books. I will be trying to read stuff to complete open challenges and finishing the huge "books stacked by my reading chair" list. Not only that, I was going to be unplugged in August. I don't know how many challenges I'll complete but I can keep track of any reading I do.

Good luck with the readathon! I wish I was better at them, but find it too exhausting.
