I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

2023 Reading Challenge - Purrfect (cat mysteries)

This challenge is all about reading mysteries that have cats as the main characters. I totally failed last year but I have a huge pile that fits this, even if I don't read any again.



  • Challenge runs from January 1 to December 31 
  • All books started Jan 1 or later count no matter when you join
  • All books must be mysteries AND have a cat that plays a major role
  • Any format counts
  • Challenge crossovers okay
  • You can make a list of books to be read, or not ... list can be changed
  • Make a list of books read 
  • reviews would be nice 
I'm going for Purring and hope to read 1 - 10 cat mystery books this year.
