I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Happy Monday

Not sure if it's really a happy Monday. I'm still in the car :-( Five days of vacation and that included four days of driving 5 hours/day. We could have done it quicker but it was better for my parents to split up the driving. You'll have to wait to hear about the vacation.

I have plans to make cookies and chocolate zucchini bread to take to the reunion. Wonder if I did? (no cookies but the bread came out tasty)

This was scheduled for today and updated before I left with no idea if I'd be able to update again while on vacation. I did received some great books before I left and had a hard time not changing my pile of books to take! (free wifi at lunch time - hotel last night charged for internet!)

Hope everyone has plans for a great week.

Mailbox Monday is a place to share all the wonderful books that have come to live in your home– including paper books, e-books and audio books. Mailbox Monday was started by Marcia of The Printed Page. When Marcia was ready to move on from being the weekly host, she was kind enough to set up the Mailbox Monday Blog Tour. Check it out so you know where to go next month.
