It's been an interesting year so far. I've lost both my Moms. My mother died in January after a long decline. Soon after, my Mother-in-Law went in for bypass surgery. While her heart healed, other issues zapped her strength and she died April 22.

I may have challenge update posts but I don't know when I'll be posting regularly or when I'll get to visit everyone who is working on the challenges I'm hosting.

Goals: Read two books that count for Gothic September (they will also count for RIP), read two library books. Yes, 13th Tale counts for all three.

Results: I had a massive amount of books to choose from and two weeks to complete my goals. Did I do it?

No.

Wait. No? Just what the heck was I doing?

Well, I was reading. . . I got 17 books read (4,571 pages!), let's see how many are from my TBR shelf. . .

~ Books from my TBR shelf ~
Heart Search by Robin D. Owens
The Dragon Egg by Michael Yu
Darn Good Cowboy Christmas by Carolyn Brown
Lucky in Love by Carolyn Brown

and library books . . .
The Unicorn Princess by Babette Cole
The Enemy by Lee Child

Did I get anything read from my goal list?

Well, two library books read out of 19 checked out. I also started reading The Hound of the Baskervilles that I can finish before the month is over. I'm just excited I got Heart Search read, I bought it in July 2011!
