Just a heads up that I'm going dark for several weeks. I may still update posts/challenges but there will be no new content, not even Thursdays.

My Mom died and I'm taking each day as it comes, plus helping my Dad go through her stuff.

Jan 16 update: Mother-in-law, who I call Mom, is in the hospital for bypass surgery

Feb 19 update: MIL is home now :-D and slowly getting better. I'm still helping my Dad with Mom's stuff but since my brother is out of town, I'm spending 4 nights at his house every week for a month. It's MUCH closer to Dad's and they do meals together and hang out.

Mar 8 update: I'm having a blast with my Dad. MIL has gone back to the hospital

I Love Library Books - 2015 sign-ups

I Love Library Books
Reading Challenge
2014

hosted by me, here at Book Dragon's Lair

Sign- up below

Our love of reading can be expensive! Not only are we purchasing books but some of us also need space to keep them. I had so much fun with this challenge last year. Let's do it again!

There are a number of levels, for those who don't have a library card yet to those that live there. Enjoy!

 Requirements:
  • choose a level - you may move up as needed, just not down.
  • read books you checked out of the library
  • books may overlap with other challenges
  • any format allowed (print, ebook, audio)
  • reviews are not necessary but a list of books read is. (post with review linky is coming in January) click here
  • a blog is not necessary, just comment that you want to join in or link up another way

Levels:
  • board book - 3
  • picture book - 6
  • early reader - 9
  • chapter book - 12
  • middle grades - 18
  • Young adult - 24
  • adult - 36
  • just insert IV - 50
Ready?

This is a great challenge! I love my local library - I don't know what I'd do without it.

Pretty sure I should be able to do the YA level, although I'm not sure I NEED to add another challenge, but WHY NOT?

I'm sorry, I accidentally deleted my original 2015 reading challenge post (#31). I have posted the new post link (#37), but I can't delete the original one.

I signed up as Shannon #6 but did not link appropriately. I could not find a way to edit so I put the proper link as Shannon #38 but I can't delete #6. Sorry to take up extra space.

Thanks for hosting this challenge again. I have joined and hope to read 50+ library books this year. Anything over 50 will be better than 2014.

Exactly 1/2 the books I read in 2014 came from the library, so this is a perfect challenge for me. I'm signing up for 50+ library books in 2015.

I think I will go for just insert IV one ... as I have done so well last year!

My link is to my stitching bog ... but I will do a relevant tab as soon as I get organised.

Just found out about this challenge today. Already have 6 library books read so far this year (out of 7 total read so far). Not sure which level I am going for, but I am sure I can hit the young adult level pretty easily. My link is to my Goodreads shelf for the challenge.

Are you hosting again in 2016?

I saw your comment at my blog and tried to email you but can't find the info on your site. Yes, I'd be happy to take over hosting; email me at beasbooknook@gmail.com

Thanks!
