It was a hard decision but

I need to simplify my life and get control of my of health. The first step of that is this blog.

I love reading. Period. Full stop. When I first started blogging it was just to keep track of what reading challenges I had signed up for.

I jumped in the deep end and burned out just as fast but rallied around and came back. The sad thing is that as hard as it was to take the summer off this year, it was harder to get back started again!

I'll always be joining reading challenges (failing most) but I'm a terrible host so I need to pass the baton on the reading challenges that I hosted for 2015.

I'll be keeping Monthly Mix-up Mania.

In order to get better control of my health, I need to get off the computer and out of my reading chair! I still have unrealistic reading goals and a huge pile of books to review but I'll have much different blogging goals and some of the posts will be health/fitness related. I'll totally understand if you decide not to follow me anymore. I'll still do reviews here (plus amazon and others), tell you about the books I'm reading, and hopefully the cat posts and mileage will increase. Because of my unrealistic reading goals, I'll have a huge number of "I joined another challenge/read-a-thon" posts.

The group at The Book Nympho had a library book challenge during 2015. Please check there for 2016.

I'm not sure about the rest of them, check out the blog A Novel Challenge throughout the year to find all kinds of challenges, read-a-thons, and events.

If you'd like to host of the above challenges, let me know and I'll post about it.
