I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Happy Monday

Weekly report of last week's activities, reading and new books in the house....

Last week:

Monday -sick. yuk.

Tuesday -still sick but hydrating and medicating.

Wednesday -Feel great! Our church has a "Trunk 'n Treat" for Halloween. Games and food inside then the kids circle the parking lot (multiple times) for candy. Someone had peeled a watermelon then carved it to look like a brain.

Thursday -

Friday -

Saturday -

Sunday - wait, it's Monday? Yikes, four days chained to my laptop planning an upcoming vacation, working on my schedule and reading an ongoing serial (I did purchase the first book in the series so I know that the first chapters (1-14) are 310 pages in print. I'm currently on chapter 299. I think I started this week on chapter 145. So, yeah. I've spent way too much time on this!)

Hope everyone has a great week planned!

Mailbox Monday is a place to share all the wonderful books that have come to live in your home; print, electronic and audio. Started by Marcia of The Printed Page, the mailbox is currently on tour. Check it out so you know where to go next month.

Thank you to Kristen at BookNAround for hosting in September.

Thanks to October's host at Mailbox Monday.
I'm not sure who is hosting for November, I'm posting before they do
