I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Tall, dark-haired, and dangerously handsome, he prowled the ton with the lazy grace of a well-bred panther whose appetites were perennially sated, as, indeed he ensured they were.
Thoughts: First, that's a lot of commas! Second, waving fan, if this is only the prologue how hot will the rest of the book be?

I read a lot of Regency Romance and this sounds like a lot of the male main characters. I can tell that he's a rogue, out for his pleasure but making sure she comes along. He usually avoids all "pretty, young things" (and their Mamas!) as he wants nothing to do with marriage. Yet.

I can also tell you that he'll find the perfect for him woman. She'll be in some kind of danger and be too independent to want anything to do with him.

It will also end with a wedding and a happily ever after.

Now I need to read the book. That is what we do. Just because you know the basic story, there are lots of bumps along the way to make each story unique.

on to the pictures!
perfect warning, I just want to sink my fingers into the fur!
I've wondered this too

great idea but those who need this most won't care and their kids may not have the option or even know there is one
and this is why we didn't get a Christmas tree this year! ;-)
sometimes, it's the easiest things that work

Oh you so do want to just sink your hands in her fur. That's amazing!

I love all those big cat/christmas ones. I lost about an hour on youtube watching videos of them. LOL

Thanks for joining in again on Cat Thursday! Great pics you've shared. That one that says it's a real cat is amazing. It looks just like a stuffed animal!
