I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

The are a lot of reading challenges based on the to-b-read pile/list. I'm starting with Beat the Backlist.

post updates all year with #beatthebacklist

We've got all year to read, and review, all books that keep getting pushed back because of new releases. Decide on a number and get started! Well, start on January 1st.

Goal: Review 6. I'm hoping I'll get more read but I have trouble with the reviews to I'll commit to six . . . and hope I get 12 ;-)

#2 Mount TBR
Hosted at My Reader's Block

Read books on your tbr pile. These are already books you own from before 1-1-17. There are seven levels, you can move up but not down. I'm going for Mount Blanc and hope to read 24 books.

#3 #RockMyTBR

Stress-free challenge but should help me with my goal of reading from my pile every month. I'm going for 12 books, one a month!

JAN  |  FEB  |  MAR  |  APR  |  MAY  |  JUN

JUL  |  AUG  |  SEP  |  OCT  |  NOV  |  DEC

#4 The TBR Dare

Hosted by Lizzysiddal and Annabel

Basically, don't read any of your new books until April. Go ahead and buy them, just spend this time reading the books you already own.

My exception will be ebooks purchased at the publisher, books for reading challenges and picture books.

#5 Shelf Love Challenge
hosted by Second Run Reviews and Chapter Break
for more information or to sign up, click here

Read the books already on your shelves before 1-1-17. Or set a limit/budget on new books coming in.

I'm going to read what I have, I'll give your shelves a warm friendly hug and read 21-30 books.
