Yesterday's assignment was #insixwords. I was late to the party but I did decide on six words.
Family, Read, Run, Laugh, Read ;-), Pets
Today's assignment is 2017 in Pictures. Sure I could leave it at that but have you ever known me not to talk?
The gray kitty is Frisky. She's the only pet we currently have as Sneakers crossed the rainbow bridge last month. My husband has a limit of two pets at a time. Can't blame him, at one time we had a rabbit, a dog, a cat, a rat, and 3 desert tortoises. Yes, all at the same time ;-)
The books are not mine. My books are scattered all over the house and into a storage unit. sigh. This year, I joined a challenge to read 200 books. Not a problem but most of the ones I read during 2016 were ebooks so I didn't whittle down my stacks much at all!
That leads into the Uncluttered part of my life. I have too many things for the space I have to put them. We've been in this house over 25 years and things have really added up. It's time to whittle stuff down. Including my books darn it but it would be nice to have them all in the house - and accessible!
I current walk/run but am hoping to increase the time spent running this year as well as my speed. I'd also like to do more races with my husband. One of my goals for this year is to "run the year". Yeah, that means 2,017 miles. I didn't make it for 2016 but I'm hoping to double my miles from last year for this year and maybe I can do 2,018 in 2018.
The scale. Yeah, running should help with that also. I plan on lifting this year so the tape measure will come in handy. Measuring cups would have been good here too as what goes in my mouth is as important as how much I move.
That's a crocheted blanket. Well, at that point, it's only half of one ;-) At one time I was crocheting blankets for the pediatric ICU and I'd like to do that again. I also made hats/scarves for homeless shelters. Time to pick up a hook again.
