Midnight to Midnight challenge

This is a week long fest of scary reading (well, at least one scary book anyway).  All you have to do to participate is read at least one horror/scary book.  For the faint-hearted among you, it can be a spooky mystery, a scary thriller, or something classically gothic.  Children's books are also allowed. It's not so much about the quantity of our reading, but the quality, right? But...if this read-a-thon helps you to mark a bunch of books off your TBR pile, so be it! No mini-challenges but there will be a big giveaway at the end.  And we will have a few scheduled Twitter chats again.

~ Books Read ~

scary-to-me book:
Stick and Stone by Beth Ferry
Cold Turkey by Shelley Freydont
Always a Groomsman by Cassandra Gold
Just a Bit Twisted by Alessandra Hazard
Halloween Hijinks by Kathi Daley

There are Rules ahem, Guidelines on the blog, just remember...the one main "rule" of FrightFall is that you must read ONE scary book (which can be a thriller, mystery, Gothic novel, or similar for those who are faint of heart).

(click the title please, my read more link still isn't working {head bang}

if you know how to fix this, please let me know)

I'm sure I read more than that but that's all from the list.

Last Wool and Testament by Molly MacRae (started before RaT)

Two More Scary Read-a-Thons for October

Michelle at The True Book Addict is hosting Frightfall at Seasons of Reading and Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer is hosting Fraterfest (which seems scarier). I've also signed up for R.I.P and books will overlap all three.

~Challenge Complete~

October 7

So I need to read a scary book sometime on October 5, 6 or 7. Shouldn't be a problem, we'll see. I'm all signed up, just need to remember to read during the time frame!

~Books Read~

1. Vampires, weird creatures, boarding school, high school. Scary enough for you?

Alex Van Helsing Voice of the Undead Jason Henderson

That was horrible! Not the RaT. No, it was my performance that was horrible. One book?! Grrr, I have a STACK! sigh. Maybe next year.
