This book is frighteningly realistic and those that try to say anything will come across as paranoid.

What would happen if you were accused of being a threat to the United States simply because you had a couple months supply of food? The reason you were targeted? You walked through a mall looking like you were searching for something and had a higher than normal heartbeat.

The surveillance happening in this book is too scary for words. The power one company/man can have is beyond belief but so realistic I want to start looking for that private island. Too bad I won't get internet or mail service. Oh, wait, that's one two of the things they're taking note of.

I'll just keep reading and keep my head down, better to avoid the cameras that way. Pay cash and be careful of what you search for. Remember, it isn't always friends looking at your Facebook account or reading your Twitter feed.

This may be fiction but it's just too realistic and current not to be aware of.
