Kathrin at Secret Dreamworld of a Bookaholic is hosting, here is what she has to say...
There are so many books out there that somehow are about Military. Be it a book with one of the main characters a military man (like Susan Brockman's Troubleshooter series, among many others), one about the wives (for example Tanya Biank's Army Wives: The Unwritten Code of Military Marriages), a book on the military in any way, even non-fiction (I'm thinking of Claudia J. Kennedy's Generally Speaking, to name one).
So why not try to read two or more of them?
When?
The challenge will start January 1, 2009 and end December 31, 2009.
How?
The goal is to read 2+ books about the military in any way in 2009, that's it. It's fairly easy, I think.

I already had Soft Spots which is why I joined the challenge. I went on vacation and stopped at a bookstore (I'm sure you understand) and found another. Including these two, I think I've got 5 non-fiction military-related books plus fiction and my son has a huge book of aircraft ;-) but I'm not sure if it is all military.
Stella Cameron's Sheer Pleasures has Attorney Wilhelmina headed for a private pleasure club from where her dearest friend disappeared. She knew it would be dangerous and then she runs into sexy Roman Wilde, an ex-Navy SEAL, who's working undercover.
SC's Navy Seals series is:
Sheer Pleasures (1995)
True Bliss (1996)
Guilty Pleasures (1997)
We Do (Novella in Married in Spring anthology) (2001)
Not only do I think I own these, I think I know exactly where they are!
1. Soft Spots - finished 9-15
