I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Contest: Pay It Forward

In honor of Book Blogger Appreciation Week and just because I love this book, I have a used but clean hardcover (minor jacket wear) to give away.

Pay It Foward

Author: Catherine Ryan Hyde
Publisher: Simon & Schuster
Release Date:
February 3, 2000
Pages: 288
Format:
hardcover
Ages:
Genre: inspirational fiction

from the publisher:
It all started with the social studies teacher's extra-credit assignment: come up with a plan to change the world for the better, and do it. Twelve-year-old Trevor McKinney began by doing something good for three people. But instead of paying him back, he asked them to "pay it forward" by doing a favor for three more people, who in turn would help three others, and so on, each act a link in a chain of human kindness. And no one -- not his teacher, his mom, or anyone in his small California town -- could ever have dreamed of how far Trevor's plan would go....

+1 I forgot to add that I'm now a follower (but I think I'm registered with brigneti {at}gmail{dot}com )

+1 I do most of my reading because I get reminded by the pile of books to read that I really love stories and getting immersed in them, even if I don't have much time to read these days...
