I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

My first 24-hour Challenge

I'm afraid I've gone too far this time. I know I read and read a lot. I know I'm up at insane hours. I know I'll read all night to finish a book. But to read for 24 hours straight? A specific 24 hours? Yep, I'm going to do it.

I don't have a list yet but will edit to add it later. I've still got some blog maintenance to do but I needed a post in order to sign-up..... Everything you need to know can be found here. Sign-ups, mini-challenges, prizes, and FAQ. That's where I'm headed.

A list to choose from:
~Library Books~
1. The Neighbor
2. No Time to Wave Good-by
3. The Midnight Twins read before challenge
4. Heck: where the bad kids go
5. The Summer Kitchen

~other Books~
6. Wild Horse Running
7. Stolen Pony
8. The Secret Horse
9. Must Love Hellhounds
10. Life in the Pit
11. A Harvest of Bones
12. The Cat, the Quilt and the Corpse
13. Snake in the Glass
14. Impetuous
15. Whiphand
16. ...and any number of picture books
17. Defenders of the Scroll
18. The Lost Symbol
19. Blue Moon
20. The Christmas List
21. The Masonic Myth

edited 10-27: Would you believe I didn't read ANY of these? I kept pulling books and putting them on a shelf and then not updating this list.

1. Thanksgiving at the Inn
2. Ghouls Don't Scoop Ice Cream
3. Magic or Madness
4. Magic Lessons
5. Dragolin
6. Dragonling, Vol 2
7. Magic's child - partial read
