I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

The 60's

I was thinking about the 10-10-10 challenge way back in June (probably because I was failing the 999). I decided to read books published in 1965 and discovered it was a lot harder to pin down than I thought so I changed it to books published in, or about, The 60's. I thought this would make it easier to choose books. sort of....

I made a great list and then found out that Dune, For Kicks and Odds Against were the only titles on the list actually published in 1965. Some books that showed up were on my "read some day" list and they were 63 or 68. That also helped me broaden the category. This list needs non-fiction but I'll research that later.

This is what I have, any suggestions would be appreciated.
