I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Dewey's Read-a-Thon Check-in: Hour 3

Twitter: @bookdragonslair & #readathon

Still awake!

5 a.m. found me cooking breakfast then reading Dakota Born by Debbie Macomber. So far I've eaten breakfast, emptied then loaded the dishwasher and visited some blogs.

Whew!

What is in store at the RaT's blog?

Hour One: Introductory Questionnaire (cute kitty!)
1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
West Coast, USA
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
That would have been Dragondrums (I started/finished it before we even started!)
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
French Dip sandwich and strawberries
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I'm a hermit that likes to party
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
Not eat as much junk food and drink more water.

Hour Two: TWO mini-challenges!
Reading in Translation at Reading Through Life.
If I could read any book that has been translated into English IN IT'S ORIGINAL LANGUAGE what would it be?
~ it would help if I could read a second language! That being said....the Bible. I'm sure if I gave this some serious thought I could come up with a more mainstream favorite but I'm tired already and I would like to be able to do this.
Introductory Meme hosted by us! check.
Hour Three: Book Puzzle
passing on this one, my brain is not fully engaged! Hope to visit some of the other puzzles later

Progress:

1 blog post
1 link
4 visits
88 pages
two chores ;)

Not bad. See you after my nap.

Happy Reading!

The junk food always tends to do me in, too. Trying to stay away from that today also. Happy Readathoning!
