I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Happy Monday - catch up post

Weekly report of last week's activities, reading and new books in the house....

Last week month: November was a busy month for me. It all started with getting sick, scheduling 3 book tour reviews and a spotlight in one month and going on vacation again.

Then the stress of making a Christmas list. How am I supposed to choose just one book? Plus, some don't like to get me books. I have a favorite brand of workout socks so I thought I could just ask for more. Sigh, the company discontinued them. Not only do I not have something to put on my list, I'm going to need to find a new favorite sock soon.

At least I don't do the whole Thanksgiving dinner. We head to my sister-in-laws, M's mother usually goes down early to help with the turkey and ham so I'm sure she's going down to help again this year. Another sister-in-law is making pies, yummy. There is always a crowd and we have a blast.

For the past several years M and I have gone to lunch with my parents for Veteran's Day but we were out of town this year and missed it. The sequoias were worth it but still.

Not blogging did not stop me from finding and joining challenges. Sigh. Eleven of them so far and I'm hosting one!

I'm looking forward to visiting again with everyone and hope you have a great week planned

Reading challenges are so addicting! I'm trying to cut down, but I could easily see myself finding 11 to do too :-)

Awesome lists. I don't quite understand how a cookbook would work on an ereader though!

I love my library, but a stack can be a problem--such pressure to finish before the due date! Good luck with your still-to-be-read books!
