I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

I'm so excited but a little scared!

I started blogging so I'd have some place to keep track of reading challenges. Then someone asked if I'd like to review a book for them. WOW! People send me free books and all I have to do it read and review it. How cool is that? I have a stack of them but I'm kicking it up a notch with specific dates.
AND there are thirteen books total to read and review this summer! So yeah, I'm a lot excited to be reading new-to-me authors and a little scared that I'm going to fall behind or not be able to get into a book.

Sooooo, along with having extended family over for a party in May, helping plan a bigger extended family (other side) party in July, and being at the beach for a week in August, keeping up with my review books, reading challenges, and reading-just-because books, . . . .

I'll be reading the following books and posting a review on the date specified.

May:
21st - The One and Only by Emily Giffin
23rd - Love and Other Foreign Words by Erin McCahan
28th - Cure for the Common Breakup by Beth Kendrick

June:
20th - The Witch of Belladonna Bay by Suzanne Palmieri
25th - The Revealed by Jessica Hickam
27th - The Walk In Closet by Abdi Nazemian

July:
9th - Elly in Love by Colleen Oakes
16th - After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid
25th - Serenade by Emily Kiebel
30th - Queen of Hearts Vol. 2 by Colleen Oakes

August:
15th - Gravel on the Side of the Road by Kris Raddish
20th - The Curse of Van Gogh by Paul Hoppe
22nd - Wild Within by Melissa Hart

*whew*

I'm looking forward to the challenge and am crossing my fingers that everything gets shipped/emailed soon so I can get started.
