I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

In a Year Reading Challenge

In a Year
Reading Challenge
2017

hosted at Goodreads
You'll need a Goodreads account (they're free) to sign up.

There are five levels. I'm going for Hard and hope to read 45 books that count.

Mar 16 edit: This is harder than I thought but I've got 26 read so far

How to Participate:
  • Post here telling the challenge leader that you'd like to join the challenge. You can choose your books for the challenge at the beginning, or add them as you go. You can join a challenge at any time, as long as the challenge is still active.
  • Whenever you finish a book for the challenge, post here and let the challenge leader know so they can update your progress.
Some members choose to update their original post with their progress to keep track of their challenge more easily, but make sure to also post a new message so the challenge leader knows to go look at your original post.

Rules:
Any genre but YA is preferred. Any order, re-reads are allowed. Books can be used for other challenges.
When finished reading a book, you can cross it out or simply put the date you finished reading the book next to the title.
